Your Consultation & Your New Look Designs

Consultation
A consultation is recommended to everyone at least 12 hours before any treatment.
It is important to attend this so I can make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the products I will be using.
(If you live far away then I can post a patch test to you to perform at home. )
Procedure & Anti-Allergy Patch Test

Procedure
When you arrive for your treatment we will start by going through the formalities of taking all the information we need and checking medical history to ensure that the treatment is completely safe to perform, whilst we are doing this I will apply an anesthetic cream to start the area superficially numbing.
We will then move into the therapy room to start drawing your new eyebrows or lips, all drawing is done with the clients needs and wants completely in mind and with full communication, no permanent makeup is started until the client is completely happy with the drawing stage this is also the same for the pigment colours chosen, the pigment is mixed and then shown on the clients skin, the pigment is demonstrated to show the client how it will look straight away and also at its healed finish!
The shape is carefully measured using the clients facial features there isn’t a ‘one shape suits all’ so all treatments are completely bespoke ensuring that you will feel completely comfortable that your new permanent makeup will absolutely suit your face shape the same goes for the pigment choice, it is mixed bespoke for you again taking your hair colour, skin tone, eye colour into account so colour and shape is completely tailored to you the client.
Next and only when we’ve both decided on the appropriate shape and pigment shade the permanent makeup procedure will begin. Whichever area of permanent makeup you have chosen the permanent makeup is built up in layers of pigment and more anaesthetic is applied to ensure complete comfort throughout the treatment.
On completion of your permanent makeup treatment initially the pigment will look quite intense but during the healing process will soften by upto 70%, you will also be given full aftercare instructions as well as your own aftercare aftercare balm to ensure safe healing in the weeks that follow your Permanent makeup procedure.
The full procedure is performed twice at 6 weeks apart to ensure the shape and colour are perfect on full completion and then top up booster appointments are recommended at 12-24 months.

Patch Test
A patch test is required 12 hours before your treatment which ideally is done at the consultation however if you have not seen me before your treatment this can be posted to you with instructions.
A patch test is always required even if you have had your brows done before elsewhere as each technician uses their preferred inks. All the pigments I use are hypo-allergenic.
The patch test is performed by simply, lightly scratching the skin before applying a small amount of anaesthetics, pigment and aftercare mixed together and lightly dotted onto the scratched area so all the products that may be used during treatment are tested! This only takes a few minutes but is very important before any Permanent Makeup procedure is performed.
